MI vs RCB : Post Match Summary

Finally, Mumbai Indians have won their first match of the IPL tournament at their home ground Wankhede Stadium, and yes, It was a treat for all Mumbai Indian fans who were disappointed after back to back 3 defeats of their team. The Performance of RCB could have been much better as the chase of 213 was not as big for a team like Royal Challengers Bangalore who is known for its batting squad with two of the legendary players like AB Devilliers and Virat Kohli in their Team.

Coming to the Post-Match summary, Let us analyze what were the factors that helped MI win the match:

(1)Rohit Sharma
Yes, The skipper Rohit Sharma played the very important role for Mumbai Indians in Today 's Match. Not only he played a brilliant knock of 94 runs but also he played responsibly because he was not hitting big shots when he came to bat. He took his time and once he was set, He began to attack after 2-3 overs and full marks should be given to him for the stupendous knock that he played today.

(2)Bowling Squad
The bowling squad of Mumbai Indians did an awesome job today, Jasprit Bumrah and Krunal Pandya performed excellently in today's match. Both these bowlers bowled 4 overs, Jaspreet Bumrah took 2 wickets and Krunal Pandya took 3 wickets in today's match which helped team Mumbai to win the Match easily.

(3)Home Ground
Wankhede Stadium is the home ground for Mumbai Indians, and they have a good winning record at this ground. The Team was also confident, which everyone could clearly see after the today's performance.

So, these are the factors that played a very important role for Mumbai Indians in winning Today's Match.

Now, Let us analyze the factors because of which RCB had to face the defeat today:

(1)Lack of Support from Batting Squad
The skipper Virat Kohli Played a brilliant inning today with 92 not out but still, RCB had to lose by 46 runs which is a big margin, The main reason behind is today nobody supported Virat Kohli from Nonstriker end.one after the other the wickets of RCB fell and It became much difficult for captain Virat Kohli to chase such a big target.

(2)Lack of confidence
The team looked so underconfident today, as they were in the defensive mode from the starting of the match. They could have easily changed the face of the match as they took 2 wickets of Mumbai Indians back to back, but according to me RCB team somehow lacked confidence today. If they were a little more confident, they could have easily won the match because RCB team has the potential to be the winner of the tournament.

(3)Lack Of Co-Ordination
There was a time when young batsman Sarfaraz came to bat and he could have easily supported Virat Kohli from the Non-Striker end but he was in his own mode today and was trying to be aggressive from his very first over and because of this lack of maturity he gave his wicket to Mayank Markandey.

These are some of the factors according to me which were responsible for RCB's defeat, but I hope that the team will learn from their mistakes which they did in today's match and they will make a big come-back in this IPL tournament.
