Virat Kohli dedicates win to Kerala Flood Victims

Indian cricket skipper Virat Kohli today dedicated his India's victory in the third Test against England to the victims of the devastating Kerala floods . Around 400 people have lost their lives, with more than a million people displaced, This has been the worst natural calamity in the state for a century. "First and foremost we as a team want to dedicate this victory to the flood victims in Kerala," Kohli said, after India's 203-run victory. "People are going through a lot. This is our bit we can do." Dipa Karmakar out of Asian Games due to Knee Injury

Dipa Karmakar will not be participating in Wednesday’s Women’s Gymnastics Artistic Team Final due to an accidental injury on her right knee that she picked up during qualification training. Dipa had felt a 'jerk' in her knee during practice Dipa's coach Nandi explained about Dipa's injury that, "On Monday she started feeling a jerk in her knee while landing during the 'podium practice'. The surface here is hard and the one in Delhi was soft (foam) which would absorb the jerk." "We consulted the IOA doctor here and he advised that she should not push, otherwise it will aggravate," the coach added. A good news is coming for Indians, As the Indian Shooter, Ravi Kumar wins a silver medal in 10 meter Air Rifle Shooting event at the Asian Games 2018 that is being held at Jakarta and Palembang. Kumar gave a tough fight to China's shooter Yang Haoran, who defeated Kunar by  scoring a 249.1 to Kumar's 247.7 Deepak had a tie at the fourth position with Korea's Song Soojoo and everyone was expecting that he will be evicted soon but he made a kickass comeback.
