Indian cricket skipper Virat Kohli today dedicated his India's victory in the third Test against England to the victims of the devastating Kerala floods.
Around 400 people have lost their lives, with more than a million people displaced, This has been the worst natural calamity in the state for a century.
"First and foremost we as a team want to dedicate this victory to the flood victims in Kerala," Kohli said, after India's 203-run victory.
"People are going through a lot. This is our bit we can do."
Virat also thanked his wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma for motivating him. "I'd like to dedicate this to my wife who is here and keeps motivating me. She's copped a lot in the past but she deserves the credit for this one", he said.
Kohli added that the performance of our fast bowlers is getting better with every Test match they play. In this Test, Hardik Pandya took five wickets in England’s first innings while Jasprit Bumrah’s five-wicket haul did the cleaning up act in the second innings.
This result also kept India's hopes alive for making a comeback in the series, As the score now is 2-1 and with two matches remaining both these teams will try to snatch these matches from opponent's jaw and all cricket fans will see a very good cricket in these upcoming matches.
